Nobody can stop someone else’s addiction but the person
dealing with an addiction. To think we can help anyone, until one
is ready to be helped or to listen is the key factor here…. It is
a Self inflated ego of self importance to think we can change
someone who does not want to make a change or shift in Life. The
one wanting help from the addiction or changing of attitude or
behavior, must come from the person inside, who really wants to
make that leap of faith; No one changes unless they want to. Real
change in this world comes when we change ourselves thus,
transcending into a new life and a new way of thinking starting
from within— inside— ourselves. Hence, “Forgiveness” of one’s self
and others is a key factor of making heart felt, ground breaking
changes in ones life. Real shifts must come from Within —Peter
Sammarco.

I agree real change comes from seeking within and alot of soul searching but someone with an addiction does not have the powerful tools to maintain conscious awareness of ones self so that is why the addicted needs guidance from family friends god to help become aware of his true self

This includes habits? I find that sometimes older couples
believe their children are still children. Is that another
addiction or just bad habits, insecure and jealousy of their
childrens life style? How can you forgive parents that stay the
same? I know I can find answer to these question and I am grateful
    for your friendship.
